I've recently acquired a new toy to help me get inspired and help get my creative juices flowing. But I also got it cause I feel black and white photos elicit a deeper emotion in still moments. It makes you look at a photo a little longer, allowing you to immerse at that moment.
I took my new toy to my god kid's second birthday, and it was challenging, other than the fact that it was a new gear, which means figuring out the configs are hard, but creatively I was pushed to compose the photos differently as it's easy to make a photo - FLAT with black and white. I have a lot of practice ahead of me, even to be consistent in taking good photos. For now, here are my first shots in bnw.

My fave moments were our personal time together, it's easy now for him to warm up to me, unlike before where it takes a good hour before I can even carry him.
